The Jaguars exploded out of the gate last Saturday against the Titans, scoring 19 points in the first half in what most expected would be a cake-walk for Tennessee. Blake Bortles actually played well for once! He threw for 325 yards and a touchdown—a much needed performance after going for only 92 and an interception against Houston the week before. The firing head coach Gus Bradley looks to have sparked something in this team.
The Colts, after destroying Minnesota, laid an egg out in Oakland and got demolished by the Raiders. It's been that kind of up-and-down season for them, with the outcome of each game entirely dependent on Andrew Luck playing well. With no real weapons around him (save T.Y. Hilton and occasionally Frank Gore) and atrocious offensive line, Luck is expected to carry the team on his back week after week while the defense gives up 40+ points a game. It's just not sustainable. With GM Ryan Grigson and head coach Chuck Pagano at the helm, he'll continue to waste his prime thanks to mediocre management.

The Jaguars played like the team we all thought they could be last week, and I think they roll to another victory over the Colts to close out the season. The Jaguars were a trendy pick last offseason to make the leap into contention, and a decisive win could put them in position for another offseason of hype.
