Jets vs. Dolphins preview:
The Jets scored 24 in the second half to come back and beat the Browns 31-28 last Sunday. Ryan Fitzpatrick looked pretty bad, going 16-of-34 for 228 yards, but he had a touchdown and no interceptions, so it's a step up from his play earlier this season. Will he be able to sustain his mediocre play instead of sabotaging the team outright with multiple interceptions? Guess we'll find out this Sunday.
The Dolphins have looked like a completely different team these past two weeks, with wins over the Steelers and more recently the Bills. The key? The absolutely surreal play by fill-in running back Jay Ajayi. Last week he rushed for a mind-numbing 214 yards with a touchdown and the week before he went for 204 and two touchdowns. Is this production sustainable? Probably not, but the Dolphins definitely aren't going to put the ball in Ryan Tannehill's hands when they have Ajayi running like a maniac. Can't blame 'em.
Jets vs. Dolphins prediction:
The Jets have some momentum, but the Dolphins are on fire. I'm not betting against them. The Jets have a pretty stout run defense, but so do the Bills, and Ajayi ran circles around them. I like him to have another monster game and I like Tannehill to throw some touchdowns this week after the offense opens up.
