Jets vs. Patriots preview:
The Jets, a team crafted for the sole purpose of comedy, lost to the Dolphins on Sunday, 34-13. Replacement Dolphins QB Matt Moore threw for four touchdowns, and Jarvis Landry went off for 108 yards and a touchdown. If this team can't handle Matt Moore, they might have some trouble dealing with Tom Brady. Just a thought. The only "good" news for the Jets: QB Bryce Petty has been cleared to start, meaning they Ryan Fitzpatrick's days of throwing 15 picks a game—at least in New York— are finally over.
Despite missing four games this season due to suspension, Tom Brady and the Patriots waltzed to another AFC East title and have clinched a first round bye. So it goes. After losing to the Seahawks, the Pats have rattled off five straight wins, and defeated the defending Super Bowl Broncos last week on the road, 16-3.
Jets vs. Patriots prediction:
The Patriots take this one. We all know how the last match-up went: The Jets played tough and actually held the lead with two minutes remaining until Brady did some Brady things and threw a game-winning touchdown. The game was close! This one will not be, not even for a moment.
