Joe Burrow Names His Pick For The NFL's Best Quarterback
Most people who follow the NFL would consider Joe Burrow to be among the league's best quarterbacks.
After a trip to the Super Bowl and a trip back to the AFC Championship Game, Burrow has helped change the trajectory of the Cincinnati Bengals seemingly overnight.
Burrow has put himself into the conversation with players like Aaron Rodgers, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen as the true franchise quarterbacks of the NFL - players who can turn any team into a contender.
Burrow was recently asked who he believed was the best quarterback in football, and he had an interesting answer to the question.
"I don't think there's any argument right now. It's Patrick [Mahomes]," Burrow said. "Until someone has a better year than he's had. He's the one to knock off."
It's hard to argue with Burrow's take.
Mahomes is coming off a second Super Bowl title while also winning the NFL's MVP award in the same season. Mahomes is one of only 11 players in NFL history to accomplish that feat, and the first since Kurt Warner did it in 1999.
The Chiefs are the standard to which every other team in the NFL is held, and it doesn't appear that's going to change any time soon.
Burrow has gotten the better of Mahomes in the past. If he wants to cement himself as the game's top quarterback, he'll need to do it again.
