Johnny Manziel Attempts Comeback With CFL Team

Johnny Football attempted a comeback.

The Cleveland Browns selected former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Manziel started eight games for the Browns over two season before getting cut by the team following the 2015 season.

The former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback has been out of the league since then, but he recently attempted a comeback.

According to TSN, Manziel worked out in Buffalo for Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Ticats put Manziel through a series of physical and medical tests during their bye week on Aug. 23 and 24, coming away convinced he’s not ready to resume his professional career.

The workout didn't go well, and it looks like Manziel's fight to make it back to the sidelines of a football team will continue.
