Late Monday night it was reported that Johnny Manziel was hospitalized in his home state of Texas. Manziel's camp released a statement saying the former Heisman Trophy-winner was hospitalized due to a reaction from his medication.

Manziel has been upfront about his battle with bipolar disorder, and was reportedly hospitalized after a reaction to that medication.

On Tuesday afternoon, Manziel offered a statement.

Here's what he had to say on his social media accounts.

It's good to see Manziel is out of the hospital and doing well.

The former Texas A&M quarterback has been attempting a comeback to the NFL in recent months, and worked out at several pro days earlier this year.

We’ll update you on Manziel as more details come in.
