Earlier this month, the Oakland Raiders traded star pass rusher Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears. Chicago sent first-round picks in 2019 and 2020, a third-round pick in 2020 and a sixth-round pick in 2019 to Oakland in exchange for Mack, a second-round pick in 2020 and a conditional fifth-round pick in 2020.
Since then, the Bears have fielded one of the hottest defenses in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Raiders have been lacking a pass rush and have just two sacks on the season - the same number as Khalil Mack.
Raiders head coach Jon Gruden was trashed for his decision to trade Mack away, and given Mack's explosive start to the season, it's not getting any better for Chuckie.
On Wednesday afternoon, Gruden was caught lamenting the difficulty in finding a great pass rusher.
As long as Mack continues to have success and Gruden brings up Oakland's lack of a pass rush, the internet will laugh on forever.
Might be time for Gruden to stop answering these kinds of questions.
