In seemingly every possible way, the 2023 NFL season has been a disaster for the Chicago Bears

The team is 0-3, they've lost all three games by double digits and they may have just had the worst week a professional sports team has ever seen.

Despite all of the evidence that predicts another finish near the bottom of the league's standngs, quarterback Justin Fields is remaining relatively optimistic.

“The Lions started 1-6 last year and they almost made the playoffs,” Fields noted after the Bears' 41-10 loss on Sunday. “We’ve got 14 left, at least.”

Fields admitted that the first few weeks of the season have been challenging for him, but he says that he's doing his best to keep everything in perspective.

“I’m looking at it like the big picture, just life in general,” said the former Ohio State quarterback.

"I think these past couple of weeks have made me appreciate the little things in life, like being able to play this game. Every opportunity I get to go out there and play, I’m going to have fun."

Fields and the Bears will have the chance to get their first win of the season in front the home crowd at Soldier Field. They'll face a Broncos team that allowed 70 points to the Miami Dolphins last week.
