It looks as though another skill player for the Kansas City Chiefs might have gotten himself into some off-the-field trouble.
According to the Kansas City Star, Chiefs wide receiver and return specialist De'Anthony Thomas has apparently been arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the state of Kansas.
Per the report, he was booked into the county jail and later released on bond.
Thomas' mug shot was made available on the Allen County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
The report also stated that a spokesman for the Chiefs said that the team is aware of the incident but did not comment any further.
Thomas has been a versatile weapon for Andy Reid and the Chiefs since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
As a rookie in 2014, Hill recorded 1,102 all-purpose yards and averaged over 600 all-purpose yards in each of his first four seasons.
Thomas played in only five games in 2018 due to a leg fracture suffered in practice in the middle of the season.
The timing for the incident couldn't have been worse for Thomas, who is slated to become a free agent in 2019 after his contract expires this off-season.
Back in March 2018, he reportedly turned down an extra $1.5 million to stay in Kansas City.
