Donald Trump Sends Personal Message To Patrick, Brittany Mahomes
Brittany Mahomes recently came under some backlash for "liking" social media posts supporting former president Donald Trump.
While Mahomes drew her share of criticism for apparently backing the Republican presidential nominee, she also caught the attention of Trump himself, who sent a supportive message Mahomes and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, on Truth Social Wednesday.
Trump included his message to the Mahomeses within a larger mini-rant about the current state of the nation.
"I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country," Trump wrote.
"With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless 'leaders,' it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple - See you both at the Super Bowl!

It should be noted that Mahomes deleted both of her "likes" from the pro-Trump social media posts, but it does seem obvious she was broadcasting her approval of the 45th President.
Some wondered if Mahomes' conservative views might mean the end of her friendship with the left-leaning Taylor Swift, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
Mahomes also appeared to send a message to her critics with a cryptic social media post amid the controversy last week.
"Contrary to the tone of the world today… You can disagree with someone, and still love them. You have differing views, and still be kind," she wrote.
