Hoda Kotb Makes Big 2025 Prediction For Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift
Before Hoda Kotb officially steps away from her role on NBC's "Today," she's going to fire off some of her predictions for 2025. Earlier today, she unloaded one about Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift.
Kotb revealed in September that she'd be walking away from her full-time gig at NBC to focus on her family. She said, "I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new." It was already announced that Craig Melvin, a co-host for the third hour of "Today," will replace Kotb later this month. He'll get to work alongside Savannah Guthrie.
With that said, Kotb didn't want to get off air before predicting that Kelce and Swift will get engaged this year. She believes "it's time" for them to take the next step in their relationship.
"Our final prediction on another couple [about to get engaged is] Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift," Kotb said, via Page Six. "They wear matching clothes, and we know their families have been together, because we’ve seen it in [football] boxes and over the holidays."
Kotb's co-host, Jenna Bush Hager, agrees with her that "it's time" for Kelce and Swift to get engaged.
"They support each other’s careers, even though they’re both busy," Bush Hager added.

There were some rumors in December about Kelce and Swift having a secret engagement, but they were debunked by a report from Daily Mail.
“When the time comes, people will know about it. But they are going to keep some things private and will have elaborate plans in place to ensure secrecy," the report stated. "They are not worried about those close to them leaking info because people who know them respect this. When and if Travis does make this happen it will be for Taylor and for Taylor only."
Kelce and Swift reportedly spent New Year's Eve together. To our knowledge, they're not engaged at this time.
Maybe after the NFL season comes to an end, Kelce will shop around for an engagement ring. But first, he'll try add another Super Bowl ring to his collection.
