Kansas City Chiefs Star Questionable For Christmas Day Game

One of the best players on the Kansas City Chiefs is questionable for Wednesday's Christmas game against the Pittsburgh Steelers

Star defensive tackle Chris Jones has been listed as questionable after he suffered a calf injury during Saturday's game against the Houston Texans. He was limited during practice on Tuesday after not practicing on Sunday and Monday.

He'd be a big loss if he can't go since he's one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL. He has appeared in every game for the Chiefs this season, compiling 37 total tackles, five sacks, and one forced fumble.

The Chiefs come into this game with a 14-1 record and need one win in their last two games to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. It would guarantee that the playoffs go through Kansas City and give the Chiefs a first-round bye into the divisional round.

Starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor is also questionable for this game with a knee injury. He was limited in practice throughout the week.

The Steelers are 10-5 and are coming off two straight losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens. They're tied for first with the Ravens in the AFC North and can win the division by beating the Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals to end the regular season.

They're expecting to get some reinforcements for this contest. George Pickens, who has missed the last three games, is expected to return and there's a good chance safety DeShon Elliott, cornerback Donte Jackson, and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi return from their respective injuries.

This should be a great game considering that these two teams are two of the best in the AFC.

Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET on Netflix. If you don't have a Netflix subscription, you can sign up for one online.
