Taylor Swift Reacts To Travis Kelce Making History On Christmas

Travis Kelce didn't just pick up a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day, he set a new record for the Kansas City Chiefs

During the fourth quarter of the Chiefs-Steelers game, Kelce hauled in a 12-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes. It's his 77th receiving touchdown in a Chiefs uniform, which breaks a tie with Tony Gonzalez for the most in franchise history. Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, wasn't at Wednesday's game for reasons unknown. She did, however, react to his record-breaking performance.

Swift liked an Instagram post from the "New Heights" podcast that celebrated Kelce's achievement. She even liked a post from Chiefs account that said, "If you ever can’t find Travis, chances are he’s in the end zone."

Kelce actually paid homage to Gonzalez by dunking the football over the goalpost. That's a celebration the former NFL star used many times during his career.

"I knew the score, and I knew that my guy Harrison had my back on the [PAT],'' Kelce said. "So, it's showing Tony some love and just a big tribute to who he's been in this, not only this organization but who he's been for football, and we know how iconic it was that he would dunk the ball over the goalpost all the time. I gave my best effort. I don't know if I did it quite like him.''

As for Gonzalez, he went out of his way to congratulate Kelce on setting a Chiefs record that may stand for a long time.

"What's up Travis! Congratulations on breaking the all-time Chiefs touchdown record," Gonzalez said in a video. "Lot of big names that you passed ... Including me. And I just wanna say congratulations. Watching you grow as a player on the field, off the field. Everything that you've done for the game, for the position. Couldn't be prouder of you, couldn't be happier for you. Keep it up, you've got a lot more to go."

Kelce finished Wednesday's game with eight receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. Overall, he has 823 receiving yards this season. While that's on track to be his lowest total since 2015, it's very evident that he's heating up just in time for the postseason.

The Chiefs have earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC. It wouldn't shock us at all if Taylor Swift shows up to Arrowhead Stadium for the playoffs.
