Kate Upton Bashes NFL Players For Kneeling During National Anthem On 9/11

Kate Upton is not a fan of players kneeling during the national anthem today.

Kate Upton quoted a tweet from SportsCenter that showed four Miami Dolphins' players, including running back Arian Foster, kneeling during the national anthem today.

Upton thinks this is "unacceptable."

"You should be proud to be American," she wrote. "Especially on 9/11 when we should support each other."

She continued: "Protest and speak your mind whenever you want but during the 120 seconds you should support the people who protect our freedom."

NFL players kneeling during the national anthem has become somewhat of a trend after San Francisco 49ers' quarterback Colin Kaepernick did - and continues to do - it during a preseason game.

On the other side of the field from the Dolphins' players was the Seattle Seahawks, who locked arms and stood in unity while the Star Spangled Banner played.

Kaepernick is expected to kneel during the 49ers' first game of the regular season on Monday night.
