Kirk Cousins was paid a lot of money by the Minnesota Vikings to deliver on a big stage, like the one today against the Chicago Bears with a playoff spot on the line.

So far, though, the former Washington Redskins quarterback has failed to produce anything of significance - on the positive side, anyway.

Cousins is currently 16 for 28 passing for 92 yards and 1 touchdown. That's far from good enough against this stout Bears' defense.

Chicago is leading tonight's pivotal game, 24-10, with less than three minutes to play.

Cousins is facing some harsh criticism on social media.

"What’s the opposite of an opponent striking fear in you? That’s what Kirk Cousins is," tweeted on prominent Bears fan.

"Im starting to worry about Kirk Cousins," tweeted ESPN's Ryen Russillo.

Frustrations seemed to be boiling over on the sideline, as well.

Cousins was spotted going at it with his wide receivers, appearing to talk about how they should be running their routes.

Cousins and the Vikings will be eliminated from the NFL Playoffs with a loss to the Bears this afternoon.

The end of the game can be seen on FOX.
