On Wednesday afternoon, Oklahoma held its pro day. While the Sooners are sending a large contingent to the NFL this season, all eyes were on quarterback Kyler Murray.
After not throwing at the NFL Combine a few weeks ago, scouts wanted to see first hand what Murray had to offer. The star quarterback also chose not to run at the combine, and was supposed to do so this afternoon at the pro day.
However, Murray once again decided he not to run. Murray weighed in close to his combine weight of 204 pounds when he registered at 205 pounds on Wednesday afternoon.
The Heisman Trophy-winner did not measure at Oklahoma’s pro day, leading to height truthers suggesting he’s not actually over 5-foot-10 – like he measured at the combine.
Regardless of his height, NFL teams are still interested.
In fact, Murray will be meeting with one NFL team tonight after his pro day workout wraps up.
According to a report from Jordan Raanan of ESPN, Murray will meet with the New York Giants tonight.
Not only have Giants sent a contingent that includes Pat Shurmur and Chris Mara to Oklahoma for Kyler Murray’s pro day, plan is for them to spend time w/him tonight after his workout, per source. Giants are looking hard at QBs but would likely need to trade up for Murray.

After trading star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns, the Giants own the No. 6 and No. 17 picks in the first round.
If the team hopes to land Murray, they would likely need to trade up.
The draft kicks off on April 25.
