Lions vs. Texans preview:

The Lions pulled out a last-second 20-17 win over the Redskins last week and continue to roll with their third win in a row, with victories previously over the Rams and the Eagles. Not too shabby. This is essentially a must-win game for them in a division that claims both the Packers and the Vikings, but they've proven time and time again that if they're still around in the fourth quarter, you better watch out.

The Texans are coming off a humiliating 27-9 loss courtesy of the Denver Broncos. It was a game in which Brock Osweiler went 22-of-41 and could only muster 131 yards while also fumbling three times. With each successive game, the $72 million dollar contract is looking more and more like a massive mistake.

Lions vs. Texans prediction:

I like the Lions in this one. They have momentum after pulling out a win against the now 4-3 Redskins and Matt Stafford is playing arguably the best football of his career. The Lions have the pass rush to rattle Osweiler, and as Denver proved, he's pretty dreadful under pressure. Marvin Jones has 100 yards and two touchdowns on the day. Osweiler throws a pick to seal the game for the Detroit Lions, and they move to 5-3.
