Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City Chiefs finally got the upper hand on Joe Burrow's Cincinnati Bengals, advancing to the Super Bowl with a 23-20 victory in the AFC Championship Game.

After the narrow win at Arrowhead, the two star quarterbacks shared a cordial moment on the field. NFL shared a clip from Inside The NFL revealing their interaction.

Mahomes congratulated Burrow on a "hell of a game" and looked forward to "many more" meetings between their teams. Burrow told him to finish the job in two weeks.

"Go win it now," Burrow said to Mahomes.

The Bengals had won their previous three meetings, including last year's AFC Championship Game, by three points apiece. However, Kansas City prevailed by the same margin to notch its third AFC title in five years.

A week after suffering a high ankle sprain, Mahomes completed 29 of 43 passes for 326 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the injury, he took off running for a critical play that put the offense in position for a game-winning field goal following an unnecessary roughness penalty.

Mahomes will hope this Super Bowl goes better than two years ago, when he threw two picks in a 31-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His 52.3 quarterback rating from that game remains the worst of his career.

Burrow won't have to wait too long for a rematch. The Bengals and Chiefs are once again scheduled to play at Arrowhead during the 2023 regular season.
