San Francisco long-snapper Taybor Pepper chose a creative way to reveal an extension.

Pepper posted a video that initially seemed like a farewell announcement. A somber melody played as a caption thanked the 49ers.

"I can't even begin to tell you what this place means to me," the message read. "In life, some chapters are meant to close."

A record scratch then made way for the message, "But this one ain't over yet." Video of Pepper walking away transitioned to Leonardo DiCaprio's "I'm not f----- leaving" speech from The Wolf of Wall Street. It then showed a now-popular meme of North Carolina A&T head coach Sam Washington saying, "Tell 'em to bring me my money."

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Pepper signed a three-year deal with $1.5 million guaranteed to stay in San Francisco. Onlookers are excited and relieved after watching the deceitful video.

"Well done!" 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk responded. "Let’s go man!!"

"Welcome back to where you belong!" a fan wrote.

"This was golden!" another fan commented.

"Never thought I’d see the day where long snappers drop comeback vids," former guard T.J. Lang said.

"You wish your long snapper was as cool as ours," podcaster Jeff Frame wrote.

Pepper started his career with the Green Bay Packers, playing four games in 2017. He played 12 games for the Miami Dolphins in 2019 before finding a home in San Francisco.

The Michigan State alum has started every game over the last two seasons. Despite teasing the end, Pepper isn't going anywhere yet.
