Patrick Mahomes has wasted no time establishing themselves among the NFL's all-time greats.

In five seasons as the starting quarterback, Mahomes has led the Kansas City Chiefs to two Super Bowl titles and four straight AFC Championship Games. They're 11-3 in playoff games with Mahomes at the helm.

Heath Cummings of CBS Sports noted that Mahomes has already caught up to Aaron Rodgers, who has an 11-10 playoff record since replacing Brett Favre in 2008.

Fans are impressed with Mahomes matching another future Hall of Famer, who had a 10-year head start.

"And won twice as many Super Bowls," a fan pointed out.

"That is a great fact I'll bring up to every Packer fan I know," another fan said.

"Patrick Mahomes is already greater than Aaron Rodgers all-time," a Chiefs fan claimed.

"If [Mahomes] wins the Super Bowl this year he moves into third place all time," FS1's Nick Wright noted.

Given his sterling regular-season track record, Rodgers' Packers haven't met lofty expectations in the postseason. However, football is a team sport, so quarterback wins are at best an incomplete stat.

In those 21 playoff starts, Rodgers has 45 touchdowns -- tied with Joe Montana for the second-most behind Tom Brady -- and 13 interceptions with a 100.1 quarterback rating.

Rather than weaponizing this information to condemn Rodgers, fans should commend an unheralded run for Mahomes. The 27-year-old has the highest postseason quarterback rating (107.4) in NFL history.

Either Mahomes or Rodgers could jump to third place -- or a third-place tie if receiving a first-round bye -- after Brady (35) and Montana (16) if winning the Super Bowl this season.
