Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Marcus Mariota had to leave today's game against the Washington Redskins with an apparent injury. Here is the latest on the status of the Titans' quarterback.

Mariota, 25, exited today's game against the Redskins with an apparent injury.

The quarterback appeared to suffer an injury at the tail end of the first half as the team was driving towards the end zone.

"Blaine Gabbert warming up. Marcus Mariota getting check out by trainers," JP Finlay tweeted.

It's been a brutal season for Mariota, who has suffered numerous injuries throughout the 2018 campaign. He took a tough shot from former Alabama star Jonathan Allen and appeared to go down awkwardly on his right shoulder.

Mariota left with just under one minute left in the first half and went into the locker room early. If he can't go in the second half, Gabbert will remain the starting quarterback.

Washington leads 10-9 at the half.
