The 2018 NFL season didn't exactly go as planned for Marshawn Lynch and the Oakland Raiders. After bringing in Jon Gruden on a lucrative contract, the Raiders traded away two key assets and saw their season end in misery after injuries ravaged the roster.

One of those key injuries came to star running back Marshawn Lynch. Beast Mode played in six games for the Raiders during the 2018 season before he went down with a groin injury.

After missing the final 10 games of the season, there remains one question for Lynch. Does he want to come back in 2019?

There are a few things to consider regarding Lynch's potential return to the team, including his age and where the team will play next season - Oakland filed a lawsuit against the Raiders and the team might not play there in 2019.

Lynch was asked about his NFL future in an episode of Real Time with Bill Maher. The running back had a shot answer.

"If it works out that way then I will," Lynch said.

Lynch is an unrestricted free agent entering the 2019 season, though he publicly claimed he would only play for his hometown Oakland Raiders. We'll have to wait and see if he wants to play for the Raiders if they don't play in Oakland next season.

Lynch will be 33 years old when the 2019 season kicks off.
