An NFL cheerleader was fired earlier this year.

That might not sound like news, as there is plenty of turnover among cheerleaders throughout the years.

However, this latest story alleges that the NFL team in question, the New Orleans Saints, fired cheerleader Bailey Davis in part for a photo she posted on Instagram.

Davis posted a photo of her in a one-piece, which, according to the team, violates the team's rule against cheerleaders from appearing nude, seminude or in lingerie.

You can read the details of the lawsuit here.

Bailey Davis was a Saints cheerleader for three years.

Meet her below.

Davis, 22, was set to enter her fourth year with the organization.

Rules stipulate a cheerleader can only work for the Saints for four years.

We'll keep you updated on the outcome of the lawsuit.
