Former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb is making headlines in Philadelphia this Tuesday due to his comments about Pro Bowl wideout A.J. Brown.

During an appearance on WIP-FM, McNabb discussed the Eagles' struggles on offense. He suggested that Brown's sideline argument with Jalen Hurts from Week 2 might be playing a factor in the unit's regression.

"I go back to before the complaint from A.J. Brown...I've seen it before, I understand it, I know as a QB you don't want to be involved in it," McNabb said. "Play calls are being more catered to try to feature instead of establishing a tempo and spreading the ball around."

Those comments from McNabb irked Brown, who fired back at the six-time Pro Bowler on social media.

"With all due respect I will repeat, that conversation was not about targets," Brown said. "Two friends bumped heads about something and moved on and If you feel that way, keep that to yourself because the media is going to hold on to everything you say. Out all of people you should know better."

Judging by the replies to Brown's post on X, most Philly fans are taking his side in this dispute.

"Why is 5 such a clown man," one fan asked.

Another fan said, "I will say this again… anytime a WR gets caught acting out on the sideline the media and everyone at home will ALWAYS and FORVER portray them as the diva complaining about not getting the ball when (and in this case, it is) it could be about something completely different."

"Philly has your back AJ," a third fan wrote.

The sky isn't falling in Philadelphia, nor should it be. Despite last weekend's loss, the Eagles are tied for the best record in the NFC at 5-1.

Brown has 42 catches for 672 yards and two touchdowns this season. He'll try to have another monster performance this Sunday against the Eagles.
