Mina Kimes is known for her versatility at ESPN. In just a few hours, though, she'll be stepping into a role she's never filled before: color analyst for an NFL game.
The Los Angeles Rams announced earlier this month that Kimes will serve as a color commentator for the team's preseason games this summer.
Kimes is a senior writer at the Worldwide Leader, as well as a podcast host and frequent guest on various ESPN television programs.
Although she's based out of Los Angeles, she's a diehard Seattle Seahawks fan - which could make evaluating a rival team awkward tonight.
We think she'll handle it like a pro, though.
It's safe to say she's pretty excited about the opportunity to call the preseason games for the Rams - and it definitely has nothing to do with the fact that the team travels to Hawaii for its second preseason contest.
The Rams and Raiders face off tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET. Don't expect to see many starters for either side as Rams head coach Sean McVay rarely plays starters during the preseason.
Also, don't expect to see Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown for other reasons.
