Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins finds himself in trouble today after a TMZ report included audio and police reports of him allegedly threatening to shoot the mother of his child.

Cousins is accused of telling ex-girlfriend, Christy West he would "put a bullet in your f**king head" after she refused to let their son come to Cousins' wedding with his new wife. West is reportedly seeking a restraining order against Cousins.

The Lakers are aware of the allegations against Cousins and released a statement earlier. The NBA has put out a similar statement, via Shams Charania of The Athletic.

“We are aware of the report regarding DeMarcus Cousins and are investigating the allegations," the statement reads.

Cousins signed a one-year contract with the Lakers this offseason but will have to miss the entire 2019-20 campaign after tearing his ACL earlier this summer. The Lakers turned to veteran big man Dwight Howard to take Cousins' place on the roster.

Cousins has bigger problems to deal with than his injury right now though. These are serious claims against him.

Stay tuned for further details on this case as they become available.
