The former Huskers' star is getting a chance with the Buccaneers.
Former Nebraska wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp didn't get selected in the 2017 NFL Draft, but he'll have a chance to make a roster.
Westerkamp announced on Instagram this morning that he's agreed to a deal with an NFL team.
The former star wideout has agreed to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
"Very excited and blessed for the opportunity Tampa Bay has given me!" he wrote.
Westerkamp was one of the most-productive wide receivers in the history of Nebraska's football program.
In four seasons with the Huskers, he totaled 167 catches, 2,474 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns.
Westerkamp's quarterback at Nebraska, Tommy Armstrong Jr., will be getting a chance with the Minnesota Vikings.
