The Patriots Have Reportedly Traded For Another Lineman
The New England Patriots have been busy replenishing their offensive line depth on Wednesday afternoon.
Bill Belichick and company made a trade with the Arizona Cardinals for offensive lineman Korey Cunningham. But that's not all.
The Patriots then made a trade with the Baltimore Ravens. According to a report from Pro Football Talk, the Patriots acquired offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor.
The report did not detail what the Patriots gave up for the additional offensive line help.
The former fifth-round pick made three starts for the Ravens in 2018. He lined up at both tackle and guard, showing his versatility - which the Patriots have to love.
Earlier in the week, the Patriots revealed that center David Andrews was hospitalized after doctors found blood clots in his lungs. His status for the season remains unknown, but there is a chance he misses the full season.
With that news in mind, the Patriots have been busy adding depth along the offensive front before the team whittles down its roster to just 53.
Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia has a habit of turning high-round draft picks or even undrafted players into legitimate starters. He'll have that chance once again this season.
