Los Angeles Rams' kicker Greg Zuerlein has been dealing with an injury since halftime of the NFC Championship Game win over the New Orleans Saints.

Here's the latest on the status of the Rams' kicker heading into the Super Bowl.

The Rams' star kicker updated his status while speaking to reporters on Saturday afternoon.

"Hopefully, a few more days of treatment and it’ll be good to go," he told reporters.

The foot injury occurred close to halftime of the NFC Championship Game win over the New Orleans Saints.

“It hurt, but not enough to stop me from playing," he added.

Sean McVay knows how important Zuerlein's status is for the Super Bowl and he's hopeful that everything will be fine by next Sunday.

"As soon as you cross the 50, you legitimately feel like you're in a position to come away with points," McVay said of his kicker. "I just think his resolve, his mental toughness -- watching the way that he handled being out earlier in the year and how he was so supportive of the guys that were in his role, I think demonstrated a security that exists on his part. But he's a really good, productive player. And he's been outstanding. ...

"We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him."

Stay tuned.
