Michael Thomas trade speculation continues to swirl on social media and New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton continues to shoot it down.

Last week, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported that there was growing talk in league circles about a potential Thomas trade.

"Some in league circles believe that the Saints could be willing to move him, and/or that Thomas could be interested in moving," he reported.

Payton responded to that report on Twitter, shooting it down emphatically. Now, he's responded to another Thomas trade report.

On Monday, Florio reported that a Thomas trade is probably not happening. However, he added that the Thomas camp has attempted to get another team to make an offer.

Whether the Saints are or aren’t interested in hearing what someone may be willing to offer before next Tuesday, November 3, this much is true: The Thomas camp has tried to get another team to make the Saints an offer for the man who set the single-season receiving record in 2019.

No offer has been made to the Saints, and at this point the belief is that no offer will be made.

Payton used an appropriate GIF to respond to this one.

The New Orleans Saints head coach isn't very active on social media, but his tweets typically go viral. This one should be no different.

The NFL's trade deadline is set for next week.
