Saints vs. Cardinals preview:
Both the Saints and the Cardinals will look back on 2016 and wonder what could have been. New Orleans, despite an 0-3 start, was able to right the ship and get back to .500 after a win over San Francisco. But the team has gone 1-4 since, losing games to Denver, Carolina, Detroit and Tampa Bay. New Orleans, as a result, will likely miss out on the playoffs.
...as will Arizona. The Cardinals have experienced a similar skid late in the season, losing three of their last four games down the stretch. The main reason for the team's issues? A 1-5 road record. Arizona, which reached the NFC title game last year, won't even come close to repeating that feat.
Saints vs. Cardinals prediction:
This one is a true toss-up, but we'll take the Cardinals. Arizona has a better defense and at home, that should be enough.
