NFL Fans Think The Giants Don't Want Shedeur Sanders
Shedeur Sanders' performance in Saturday's Alamo Bowl might've served as some extra motivation for the Giants in Week 17.
Following a rough game from Colorado's offense — which managed to score just two touchdowns against 17th-ranked BYU — the G-Men are putting together one of their best performances of the season vs. the Indianapolis Colts.
The Buffs QB now-infamously predicted that he'd be a New York Giant with his pair of custom cleats this weekend. However, fans on social media are having different thoughts.
"The Giants saw Shedeur play yesterday and decided to REVERSE TANK," Old Row Sports said.
"Shedeur Sanders Showed Up to The Alamo Bowl With Custom New York Giants Cleats, Proceeds to Play Like a New York Giants Quarterback," Barstool posted.
"giants went from shedeur/cam talks to 'jalen milroe' discussions," a user replied.
"The Giants saw Shedeur's performance yesterday and decided to try to win this week," John Martin cried.
"Shedeur put on Giants cleats and his life started falling apart," commented Bobby Skinner.
"Shedeur really wore Giants themed cleats only for the Giants to compete in the manner they haven't competed at since the first week of October. I know @Danny_Heifetz is disgusted watching this," The Ringer's Raheem Palmer said.
While Sanders' play left a lot to be desired, it's still hard to imagine that the All-American QB could fall out of the top three picks. With several teams looking for quarterbacks, Shedeur is the prospect that projects to be the best in the pros in this year's class.
