Earlier this week, a report from USA TODAY Dallas Cowboys reporter Jori Epstein said the team is hosting a "major business announcement press conference" this Wednesday featuring Jerry Jones and "special VIP guests."

As of Thursday afternoon, fans are still speculating on what the news might be. Answers ranging from Jerry firing his son, to the team paying all players in bitcoin and more have come from all corners of the internet.

Of course, there were plenty of jokes thrown around about the Jones' and the team's offseason. Here's how a few fans reacted to the team's latest "business news."

"Salary Cap Space jerseys are now available at all Dallas Cowboys Pro Shops," one reporter joked after the team swung and missed on a few big name free agents.

"If he and Stephen aren’t stepping down I don’t want it," another fan said.

"Jerry Officially Steps down as GM and gives it to Stephen and we all cry," said another fan.

Fans will just have to wait another day to see exactly what the news is.

Stay tuned.
