Dak Prescott has made mincemeat out of the New York Giants defense today. It isn’t even the fourth quarter, but the Dallas Cowboys quarterback has already thrown for nearly 400 yards and four touchdowns.
As a result, just about everyone talking about him on Twitter is saying the same thing: Pay the man.
Prescott is currently waiting on a contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys. He is believed to want in the area of $35 million per year, which would make him among the highest paid players ever.
But the Cowboys spent this past offseason playing hard-to-get with Ezekiel Elliott before giving him a new deal. As of now, they don’t seem at all interested in rushing to pay their quarterback.
Nevertheless, Prescott is making it pretty clear in his performance today that he’s worth a whole lot more than he’s making.
If he continues playing like this, the Cowboys may not even be able to afford him if he tests the market.
Cowboys should have paid Dak Prescott before today. His price just went up.

Hall of Fame Cowboys executive Gil Brandt also conceded that Prescott has made his value to the team clear.
Don't tell me you want to be paid along the highest QBs. SHOW ME.

Prescott has garnered a number of records since entering the league in 2016.
A fourth-round draft pick out of Mississippi State, Prescott has gone 32-16 as a starter with two Pro Bowls and two playoff appearances.
Dallas currently leads the Giants 35-10. Jerry Jones may want to get his checkbook out before the game is over.
