We're still several months away from the start of the 2022 season, but Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is already thinking about the Super Bowl.
While at at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Walk-On's in Irving, Texas, a kid yelled: "Dak, we're winning the Super Bowl his year!"
Prescott had an emphatic response to this claim, responding, "Damn right."
For the most part, Dallas fans love Prescott's optimism and confidence heading into the spring.
"Hell yea," a Cowboys fan responded.
"Glad the new generation of Cowboy fans are the exact same as my generation," another replied.
There are some fans, of course, that don't believe in Prescott's declaration.
"Not gonna happen," one fan said. "There is a zero chance of a Cowboys Super Bowl return until a sense of urgency and necessity returns to the coaching staff and front office."
"I understand that Dak is talking to a child to get them excited.. But I got to say that I am ready to be hurt again," another fan said.
Prescott finished the 2021 season with 4,449 passing yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
If the Cowboys are going to win a Super Bowl next season, Prescott will need to play at an elite level.
