Dez Bryant Blasts Skip Bayless, Calls Him A Bandwagon Cowboy Fan

Dez Bryant apparently does not have much love for FS1 personality Skip Bayless.

This afternoon, a Twitter user responded to a Skip Bayless tweet featuring video of the hot-take master saying the Dallas Cowboys are better off without Dez in the lineup. Bayless said Bryant was learning that "the team didn't revolve around him."

Bryant himself added on to that response, blasting Bayless as a "bandwagon" Cowboy fan and saying he never felt like the center of the team.

This isn't the first time Bryant has gone back at Bayless. The two have gone back and forth with each other on Twitter on multiple occasions. Bayless is a self-described Cowboy fan but he's also been known to criticize Dallas players in the past.

Injuries have sapped Bryant of much of the last season-plus. He hasn't played since Week 3 due to a hairline fracture in his knee but returned to practice today on a limited basis. In three games in 2016, Bryant has caught 11 passes for 150 yards and one touchdown.

Led by rookie quarterback Dak Prescott and rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys' offense has flourished even without Bryant. Still, he is the most talented receiver on the roster and remains one of the better pass-catchers in the NFL. His return adds a whole new dimension to the Dallas attack.

The 4-1 Cowboys travel to Lambeau Field this weekend to take on the 3-1 Green Bay Packers. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET with Fox broadcasting the game. The winner of this one firmly establishes themselves as one of the top teams in the NFC.

There's no definitive answer whether or not Bryant will return to game action this Sunday. If he doesn't, expect he'll be back after the team's Week 7 bye and in the lineup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 30.
