Reports: Ezekiel Elliott Missed OTAs After Being In Car Accident Sunday

Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a car accident on Sunday, and is being held out of Cowboys organized team activities as a precaution.

ESPN's Adam Schefter and Todd Archer report that the star rusher has missed two days of OTAs after the accident, in which he was a passenger.

NFL Network's Jane Slater said Elliott bumped his head in the accident.

There are not a ton of details out about the accident, but it does sound like Elliott is okay. It is the second accident that Elliott has been involved in since January.

Ezekiel Elliott Involved In Minor Car Crash Wednesday Morning

On January 11, Elliott was involved in a minor accident ahead of the Cowboys' playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers. He reportedly rear-ended a BMW, according to TMZ:

A witness tells us … Elliott was driving a “huge black GMC truck” which rear-ended a black BMW. Cops and Cowboys security responded to the scene. We’re told Zeke “looked frustrated” but was “extremely nice and polite” to everyone who stopped to check in on him.

Elliott rushed 22 times for 125 yards in that dramatic playoff game. Hopefully he's okay, and will be back to full activity soon.
