The star running back could see the field on Sunday.

On Tuesday a Texas judge upheld the six-game suspension handed down by the NFL to running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Despite the suspension being upheld, Elliott is still eligible to play this Sunday against the New York Giants.

According to multiple reports, the NFL missed a 4 p.m. E.T. deadline in which the suspension needed to be completed.

As a result, he'll play Week 1.

The Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants in a battle of division rivals. It's a tough break for the Giants who surely hoped they wouldn't have to face Zeke in the season opener.
