The Eagles bolstered their defensive line this week, signing Ndamukong Suh to a one-year contract. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked about the veteran defensive tackle this Friday.

During his weekly spot on 105.3 The Fan, Jones revealed that Dallas never had interest in signing Suh.

"No, we didn't have contact," Jones said. "I like where we are with our big boys in the middle."

Jerry Jones has a way with words.

As for the "big boys" that Jones was talking about, the interior of the Cowboys' defensive line is anchored by Osa Odighizuwa, Jonathan Hankins, Neville Gallimore and Carlos Watkins.

The Cowboys will need their defensive line to step up during the second half of the season. They're currently giving up 143.1 rushing yards per game.

Last week, the Cowboys gave up over 200 rushing yards to the Packers. Their run defense will be put to the test this weekend against Dalvin Cook and the Vikings.
