The Dallas Cowboys are on track to have a pretty high pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Dallas is now 2-7 on the season following Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cowboys played well against the undefeated Steelers, but ultimately lost, 24-19, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Cowboys are currently in No. 4 overall pick standing for the 2021 NFL Draft. That could put Dallas in line to select one of the top quarterbacks in the class. Trevor Lawrence will be gone by then in all likelihood, but Justin Fields or Trey Lance could still be available.
With Dak Prescott injured and unsigned for the longterm, would the Cowboys consider selecting a quarterback at the top of the NFL Draft?
Jerry Jones revealed the plan on Tuesday morning.

Prescott remains the longterm plan at quarterback for the Cowboys. The fifth-year starter is expected to make a full recovery by early 2021.
