On this Wednesday's episode of The Herd, Colin Cowherd ranked the four starting quarterbacks in the NFC East. Surprisingly, Dak Prescott wasn't at the top of his list.

Instead, Cowherd has Carson Wentz ranked as the No. 1 quarterback in the NFC East.

Wentz has shown in the past that he can be a Pro Bowl quarterback, but the past two seasons just haven't been kind to him. Prescott, meanwhile, is coming off a season where he had 4,449 passing yards and 37 touchdown passes.

This isn't the first time that Cowherd has supported Wentz. Nonetheless, fans of teams in the NFC East can't believe Cowherd ranked Wentz ahead of Prescott.

"On what planet is wentz better than Prescott," a football fan said after seeing Cowherd's NFC East power rankings.

"This man Colin and whoever cuts his checks both need to be fired immediately," a second fan tweeted.

"As someone who hates the Cowboys, it’s absolutely ridiculous not to have Dak #1 here," another fan replied. "He’s the best QB in the division by a mile. Also Carson got his spot taken by Jalen Hurts. He’s not better than him either."

If Cowherd's goal was to generate views from this controversial list, then consider it a job well done.

It's possible that Wentz will have a better 2022 campaign, but the current edge belongs to Prescott.
