The officiating in tonight’s Dallas Cowboys-New York Jets game has been questionable at best, especially in the final minutes of this evening’s game at Metlife Stadium.
Dallas’ final drive of the fourth quarter – a game-tying touchdown drive that ended with a failed 2-point conversion – was littered with flags.
The Jets were called for several pass interference penalties, while the Cowboys were called for some holding penalties.
It was ugly.
“The best part of this Jets-Cowboys game is that the refs are letting them play,” ESPN’s Field Yates tweeted.

“Officiating is at a critical level in the NFL. This Jets-Cowboys game is unwatchable thanks to the refs. This is no longer entertainment,” Jay Crawford added.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith was certainly not happy.
“This is some straight BS. How many penalties are the New York Jets gonna get called against them? The officials are doing all they can to GIVE this game to the Dallas Cowboys. I swear!” he tweeted.

The Jets ended up coming out on top, at least.
New York topped Dallas, 24-22, to get its first win of the season. The Cowboys, meanwhile, dropped to an ugly 3-3. However, Jason Garrett’s team is still tied for the lead in the NFC East.
