What Jerry Jones Would Do If Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott Kneeled

Here's what the Cowboys' owner would do.

Jerry Jones said after the Cowboys' loss to the Packers on Sunday that any player who "disrespects" the flag will not play.

That policy, according to the Dallas owner, has been in place since players started to kneel during the national anthem last season.

The Cowboys haven't had any players kneel. The team - including Jones - did kneel before the anthem on a Monday Night Football game at Arizona, but stood for the song.

Many have been wondering if Jones would stick to his benching policy if one of his star players - Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Dez Bryant - kneeled for the national anthem.

Jones says he would.

The Cowboys have a bye this week, but the team returns to the field on Sunday, Oct. 22 at San Francisco. The 49ers have been at the forefront of the national anthem kneeling. San Francisco had a bunch of players kneel on Sunday, leading to Vice President Mike Pence leaving the stadium in Indianapolis.
