In just a few hours, the New York Giants will face off against the Washington Football Team in a pivotal divisional contest.
Both teams are in search of their first win of the season. New York dropped its season-opener to the Denver Broncos in an embarrassing two-touchdown loss at home.
Meanwhile, Washington dropped its first game of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick suffered a nasty hip injury and will be sidelined at least a few weeks.
The Giants are dealing with a few injuries themselves. In advance of tonight’s game, the team announced it signed veteran offensive lineman Matt Skura.

The news comes after the Giants have dealt with a series of injuries to the offensive line. New York already listed former Oregon standout Shane Lemieux out with a knee injury.
The Giants also lost guard Kyle Murphy to an ankle injury. With all of the injuries to the offensive line, the Giants decided to bring in a veteran.
Skura was on the Giants practice squad, but now gets the call up to the active roster.
New York and Washington kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET on the NFL Network.
