Lions vs. Giants preview:

It once again came down to the fourth quarter for the Lions, and once again, Matt Stafford got the job done—this time with his legs instead of his arm. They beat the Bears 20-17 and now have a two-game lead in the NFC North, currently occupying the second seed in the NFC playoff picture. This team will go as far as Matt Stafford's heroics will take it.

The Giants took down the Cowboys on Sunday night football in a 10-7 slug-fest. It was an impressive win, and it leaves Dallas with just two losses on the season—both of them to the Giants. The defense was superb at disrupting Dak Prescott in the pocket, and while Ezekiel Elliot topped 100 yards, the Giants limited his big-play ability. The Giants still have room to grow, and if Eli Manning gets hot, this team has a legitimate shot at a Super Bowl.

Lions vs. Giants prediction:

The Giants are 6-1 at home this year, and they'll win this one too. The Giants defense will be all over Matt Stafford from the opening kickoff, and a couple crucial turnovers will make Matt Stafford's late-game heroics a moot point.
