Odell Beckham Jr. is gone from New York, famously traded to Cleveland in an off-season deal that sent shockwaves throughout the NFL. The split between the Giants and Beckham did not appear amicable when it went down.
After originally signing Beckham to a huge contract extension last year, Giants general manager Dave Gettleman shipped the superstar wideout to the Browns for a two draft picks and safety Jabrill Peppers. Subsequent reports deemed Beckham "a pain in the ass" who the Giants feared they would have more issues with as time went on.
Well, Beckham let his feelings be known tonight on Twitter. It started last night with him laughing at a tweet referencing this NJ.com article in which Gettleman made reference to "a culture problem" that the Giants had but aren't dealing with anymore. It is important to note Gettleman did not mention Beckham by name.
Then, Beckham requested tweets from "the haters" because he was having such a good day. That led to a slew of people tweeting about the Giants, and a multitude of responses from Beckham.
Beckham also responded to a tweet calling him "a cancer" by saying he is a cancer to "a place that's OK wit losing because I want to win that BADDD."
Beckham is still going on Twitter right now, but has shifted his attention to soliciting Cleveland restaurant suggestions from his followers.
He did take time to drop this bit of positivity on his timeline.
Let's just say Odell and the Giants won't be exchanging Christmas cards this year.
