All the criticism that surrounded the Giants' selection of Daniel Jones has quickly disappeared this preseason. The talented gunslinger from Duke has impressed everyone around the league with his performances this month.

Jones will eventually become the starting quarterback for New York. However, the coaching staff has stated multiple times that Eli Manning is the Week 1 starter.

Manning is undeniably one of the most loved players in the franchise's history. His two championships with the Giants will never be forgotten.

Despite all that Manning has accomplished in New York, the reality is that Jones is the more appealing option right now. In fact, it appears that the media would agree.

Following the Giants' victory over the Bengals, a photo of the media swarming Jones went viral.

Not only did it show how popular Jones has become in such short time, it also shows Manning sitting alone nearby in the locker room.

The reality is that reporters probably finished interviewing Manning and simply moved over to discuss the game with Jones. But the optics here are incredible.

Manning is still going to face the majority of the questions from the media because he's the starting quarterback. Regardless, this picture has caught the attention of many on social media.

There's no timetable for when Jones will replace Manning in the starting lineup, but it'll certainly be the biggest headline in the NFL when it happens.
