Now that Carson Wentz is out of the picture, Jalen Hurts will have a great shot at becoming the next franchise quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Although the Eagles haven't really shown with their actions or words that they're all in on Hurts, it sounds like one of his former teammates is.

Eagles wide receiver Jalen Reagor raved about Hurts during an interview with Bleacher Report's Adam Lefkoe.

"All I tell people is he’s a winner. He knows how to win," Reagor told Lefkoe. "He's a very versatile quarterback, he's smart, and like you said, just the aura of him. He comes in and commands the huddle. He didn't let him being a rookie dictate how he played or his swagger - he keeps the same swagger. "

Despite showing a lot of potential at the end of the 2020 season, Hurts hasn't completely won over the Eagles' trust.

Last week, Eagles insider Rob Maaddi had an interesting report to share regarding the team's thoughts about Hurts .

“Eagles are unsure about Jalen Hurts. No consensus in the building,” Maaddi wrote. “After beating the Saints, they wanted to get rid of Carson Wentz. After next 3 losses, they wanted to work it out with Carson. After trading Carson, they considered a trade up for a QB before trading down to 12.”

Hurts will need a strong 2021 season if he wants to be the Eagles' starting quarterback for the foreseeable future.
