Once again, the Philadelphia Eagles have to go through another week without their receiving corps at full strength. DeSean Jackson won't be on the field for the second-straight game.
Jackson had an incredible performance in Philadelphia’s season opener, scorching Washington’s secondary for 154 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The following week didn't go as well for Jackson, who suffered an abdominal strain in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons. It kept him out of action this past weekend.
Due to a short week for the Eagles, the offense won't have Jackson available on Thursday night.
Philadelphia released its injury report for this weekend and it has three key players listed as out: DeSean Jackson, Tim Jernigan and Ronald Darby.
Here's the full injury report:
It's not all bad news for the Eagles as Alshon Jeffery and JJ Arcega-Whiteside will play tomorrow against the Green Bay Packers.
One of the biggest issues for Philadelphia through the first three weeks is that its wide receivers keep dropping the ball. Nelson Agholor had a crucial drop in Week 2 and Dallas Goedert suffered the same fate in Week 3.
Even though Philadelphia will be without Jackson, the offense should function much better tomorrow.
Kickoff for the Eagles-Packers game is at 8:20 p.m. ET from Lambeau Field.
