The Philadelphia Eagles are reeling from injuries as the team fell to 1-2 with a loss to the Detroit Lions this weekend.

Star wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson suffered injuries during the team's loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2. Tight end Dallas Goedert also missed time with an injury.

Injuries kept both Jeffery and Jackson out of the team's loss to the Lions.

However, the bad news appears to be over.

Goedert returned for the team against Detroit and now Jeffery appears to be on the mend as well. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Jeffery returned to practice

"In anticipation of Thursday night, Eagles Alshon Jeffery (calf) was a full participant in today’s walk-through, a good sign for his participation vs the Packers," Rapoport reported this week.

The Eagles have a short rest after last weekend's loss. Philadelphia faces off against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.

Jackson is still a long-shot to play, according to multiple reports. However, if the team can get a healthy Alshon Jeffery on the field, it would certainly help their chances to win.

With a beat-up secondary, the Eagles need everything they can get on the offensive side of the ball.
